Mark Steyn penned this admirable bit of clarity:
"Saddam has George Bush Sr to thank for these last 12 years; he shouldn�t be given another dozen by another Bush."

If Bush keeps trying to accommodate the Axis of Weasels he may find himself in the same boat as his old man. The people in all those red states are funny that way. I suppose that occupying the country without a war might be better than taking casualties, but Saddam would have to be like Idi Amin, never heard from again.
