Maybe the most disgusting part of the WMD "Lie" story is that, despite all we've heard about the New York Times, our news media are still letting it decide what's news:
A big part of the reason this has grown into such a brouhaha is that Joseph C. Wilson IV wrote an op-ed about it in last Sunday's New York Times in which he said: "I have little choice but to conclude that some of the intelligence related to Iraq's nuclear weapons program was twisted to exaggerate the Iraqi threat."
The link is to Clifford D. May in the National Review. Read the rest.

There is a lot of real news to cover, but these boneheads are so caught up in the Democrat primary races, they can't see that they're chasing gnats with tennis rackets. Hasn't anybody else noticed that the Democrat Party has reformed itself into nominating Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis and Bill Clinton, the last of whom is still celebrated as their answer to Reagan. Now they're rolling toward anointing another George McGovern like an ammo wagon down a steep hill. You'd think the media would be urging us to avert our eyes.
