Obama calls African Americans "a mongrel race."

Actually, it WAS taken out of context. He said all Americans are mongrels too. I do think that "mongrel" is a loaded term, like "mud people," but he was thinking of the great Melting Pot of American culture that most of us belong to and the lack of pure-breds among us..
