Gibson Guitar was raided by federal agents apparently looking for evidence that it imported wood from India allegedly in violation of Indian export laws. If Obama wants to be take seriously about creating and protecting jobs, he'd do better by telling Holder to knock it off. As Instapundit notes, "You know, if you just move those jobs overseas you don’t have to worry about this kind of thing."

Why is the U.S. enforcing India's export laws when it won't enforce our own immigration laws? America is becoming less and less a republic than an oligarchy of environmentalists and PC police.

UPDATE: Gibson's CEO is a Republican donor, while the CEO of their competitor Martin is a Democrat donor. Martin uses the same wood, but hasn't been raided.

I hope the feds have a better explanation than we've heard so far.
