Mark this down

Someday, you'll be able to tell your grandkids that you remember when the NYTimes and LATimes were considered reliable news sources.

Had enough? Want Moore?

Uh, no.

Michael Moore reminds me of those forgotten people you read about who were popular during their lifetimes but no one since can figure out why. Sort of like people today looking at 1970s hit records. Did anybody really think Pablo Cruise was that good?

Oh, THAT politically correct media!

You have to read this story carefully to make sense of it. First it was bad to refer to use masculine pronouns for indefinite referents. We had to be sure to give women their due. So mankind became man and woman kind. Now even men must be considered women. This will surely be viewed by future generations as the era of idiocy.

The Book of Mormon as literature

Doubleday will publish a hardcover edition of the Book of Mormon at a price of $24.95. You can get one in softcover free from the LDS Church, but maybe it's worth it to know that no missionaries will call.

Heh.

I just got back from a vacation in Ohio with my two brothers and my sister Marilyn.

This blogging monkey really screams after a week of not accessing the net.

Instapundit furnishes the quote of the day, "A military alliance with Europe is like going on a diet with Michael Moore: one of you will wind up doing most of the work."
